Stephen Lawrence Day 2025 - LinkedIn London Experience Centre
THE PURPOSE OF THE DAY
Stephen Lawrence Day (SLD) is a significant occasion that honour’s the legacy of Stephen Lawrence, a young black man whose tragic murder in 1993 became a catalyst for change in the fight against racial injustice in the UK. SLD serves as a reminder of the ongoing struggle for equality and aims to inspire young people and communities to engage in discussions around diversity, inclusion, equity and social justice.
It's a unique opportunity for us to help them drive awareness about the significance of Stephen Lawrence (unfortunately most people under 30 don't know about Stephen Lawrence) and help empower ethnic minority talent in the UK.
